What is MiyoSmart iQ Lenses?

MiyoSmart iQ is a specialised spectacle lens designed to help slow myopia progression in children. It was developed by HOYA in Collaboration with it’s research partner, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. MiyoSmart is an evidence-based solution for myopia management that combines vision correction with technology designed to help manage myopia as your child grows.

Unlike standard spectacle lenses which correct your child’s vision for clear sight, MiyoSmart iQ is desgined to do more. It combines clear vision correction with treatment one that provides a specific defocus signal to help slow myopia progression.

MiyoSmart iQ uses HOYA’s Defocus Incorporated Multiple Segments (D.I.M.S) Technology with a Triple Enhanced Design, providing clear, comfortable vision in a single spectacle lens, while supporting myopia management as your child grows.
